Some tips to use Vietnam Visa Exemption effectively
According to the Vietnamese government, the new rules, to be released on 15th August, will allow foreigners to apply for multiple-entry e-visas for stays of up to 90 days. In addition, the visa-free period for citizens of countries with unilateral Vietnam visa exemption will be changed from 15 days to 45 days.
Vietnam up 6 places, ranks 82th of the world's most powerful passport
The Vietnamese passport has moved up six places to 82nd in the latest global travel freedom index, according to the Henley Passport Index. This means that Vietnamese citizens now enjoy visa-free access to 55 destinations, including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates. In Southeast Asia, Vietnamese passport ranks higher and more powerful than Laos (87th) and Myanmar (89th).
